Most companies miss the opportunity for increasing profits via the Mission Statement. Management teams will brush off the significance of a mission statement by stating that the missions are "too fluffy or too soft." These statements are more representative of incompetent management teams as opposed to ineffective mission statements. This podcast will highlight 4 areas that people typically forget to reflect on:
1) Missions drive actions,
2) Missions based on profitability are acceptable,
3) Missions can be used to formulate decisions, and
4) Missions must be short and memorable.
